Redefined Landscapes

My redefined landscapes are the product of a child's imagination that glimpsed nature only through isolated plant forms. My portraits of botanical singularities have evolved from the great trees and single flowers I saw flourishing between the concrete slabs of the inner city neighborhood of my childhood.  The apartness of my trees are honored by decorating them with fruit and vines.
